This camp is conducted by both the Men's and Women's Soccer Teams

Elite Soccer Academy (Youth Week Day Camp)
is open to BOTH BOYS & GIRLS between Ages 6-13.

with Providence College players.

 the drop off and pick up time remains

9:30-10:00 • Technical Work
10:00-11:00 • Daily Topic
11:00-11:30 • Small Sided Games
11:30-12:30 • Lunch
12:30-1:30 • Pool Time and Soccer Tennis
1:30-3:00 • Technical and Tactical Session
3:00-4:00 • Small Sided Games

*Schedule will vary daily based on topics and age*
*Closing ceremonies will be held at 3:30 on Friday*

*An Athletic Trainer (ATC) will be on site

Chaka Daley - Head
Men's Soccer Coach (USSF A License)

• Head Coach - Providence College Men’s Soccer since 2000.

• Has led Providence to three NCAA Tournament berths.

• In 2005, Daley guided his team to one of the most impressive seasons in the history of Friar soccer as the squad advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Friars posted a 7-4-9 mark and recorded one of the most improved records in NCAA history. The Friars fi nished 9.5 games better than the 2004 season, which tied the team for the 10th best turnaround in NCAA history.

• In recognition of his strong coaching performance, Daley earned the NSCAA Division I New England Coach of the Year honors and was one of eight fi nalists for the NSCAA/Adidas National Coach of the Year accolades.

• Daley has led Providence to fi ve consecutive winning seasons, a feat that has not been accomplished since 1983-87.

• Providence has earned four appearances in the BIG EAST Semifinals during Daley’s tenure.

• Daley coached PC First Team All-American Ryan Maduro and numerous All-BIG EAST performers.

Jim McGirr - Head
Women's Soccer Coach (USSF B License)


• Head Coach - Providence women’s soccer since 2005.

• Prior to Providence, McGirr spent two seasons as an assistant at Villanova University. He helped the Wildcats advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2003 and 2004 and achieve national rankings during
those seasons. The 2003 Villanova squad won the BIG EAST title and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

• McGirr was a head coach for the New Jersey Olympic Development Program for five years.

• Additionally, he was the coach for Wyckoff Torpedos Under-19 Girls Club Team (1998-2001), head coach at the Player Development Academy
for the Under-17 boys team (2000-02) and technical director/assistant coach at the Baltimore Bays Under-14 Girls Club Team (2002-03). Most
recently, he served as the director for coaching for the FC Delco Girls Soccer Club, a position he held through 2003.

• A 1992 graduate of Rider, McGirr played three varsity season for the Broncs.

 

John Mark Andrade

• Assistant Coach - Providence College
Men’s Soccer since 2009.

• Andrade served as the head coach at Dean College for one year and guided the
Bulldogs to a 10-5 record and the Region XXI Regular Season Championship.

• Andrade was a four-year starter at Syracuse University. He earned All-BIG
EAST accolades in 2000 and 2001 and All-Northeast Region honors in those same years. In addition, he served as team captain in 2001 and was named team MVP in 2000-01.

• Andrade, who was the 1997 Gatorade & Umbro Rhode Island Player of the Year, has been the president of Bayside F.C. in East Providence
since 2006 and has served as the head coach of the Rhode Island Olympic Developmental Program since 2005.

• Moved to Portugal where he played professionally in the first division for Maritimo F.C. and the third division for Fafe F.C.

Jennifer Sullivan

• Assistant Coach - Providence College
Women’s Soccer since 2006.

• Sullivan is a 2005 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human
Development and Family Studies.

• She also was a four-year starter on the
UConn women’s soccer team.

• During her collegiate career, the Huskies
won BIG EAST Championships in 2002
and 2004. Her 2003 team advanced to the Division I NCAA National Championship game.

• Sullivan has coached at numerous camps including the DOCA Futbol Camp and the FSA camp. She also volunteered for the Stonington High School girls’ soccer team in 2004. Sullivan hopes to continue to help rebuild the PC women’s soccer team for future success.
