Sam Lopes
Assistant Coach
Samuel Lopes enters his first season with the Providence College women's soccer team. Lopes is a 2002 graduate of Quinnipiac University, where he received a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. After playing at Quinnipiac, Lopes went on to play in the United States Soccer Leagues for the Connecticut Wolves and the Westchester Flames. From 2005-2011, Lopes was the head assistant women's coach at Southern Connecticut State University. Lopes has also coached in many positions in women's professional soccer, including as an assistant coach for the Boston Breakers in 2010, as the head assistant for the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues in 2009, and as the head assistant for the New England Mutiny from 2007-2008. From 2002-2005, Lopes was an assistant coach for Saint Joseph's College in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Kyle Bak
Assistant Coach
Kyle Bak enters his first season of work with the Providence College women's soccer team. Kyle was the goaltender for Western New England College from 2006-2010, where he started 39 games and recorded 18 shutouts. Kyle coached at Salve Regina University as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach for the men's team for the 2010 season. Kyle also coached at LaSalle Academy as an assistant varsity coach for both the boy's and girl's programs during the 2010 season. Kyle has also worked as a New England Revolution Youth Academy Trainer since January 2011. He holds his bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Megan Novak
Assistant Coach
Megan Novak enters her first season with the Providence College women's soccer team. Megan is a 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she was a four year starting midfielder. Megan captained her team in both 2009 and 2010, and was the recipient of the University of North Carolina Wilmington Chancellor's Cup Award in 2011. Megan has coached at various camps, including the Georgetown University Soccer Camp from 2008-2011, the University of Maryland Soccer Camp in 2011, the University of North Carolina Wilmington Soccer Camp from 2009-2011, and the Navy Soccer Camp in 2010. She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.

The remaining staff members of the GSA will come from some of the top collegiate programs on the east coast, as well as former and current collegiate players.
